Step 1: Choose the Type of Mint You Want to Grow

Step 2: Get a Mint Seedling
You can either get a mint seeding from your local garden supply store or harvest an existing mint plant using a cut from a mature mint plant. Fill in a glass with water and place the freshly cut mint here.

Ensure that the compost and potting soil are filled to the bottom of the pot. Next, in the pot, place your mint cutting or seedling. If the roots are too long for the pot, bend them.
